Brothers At War’s Television Premiere on Memorial Day

Dear Friends,

Thank you again for the support you have given Brothers at War. I wanted to share with you that Showtime has decided to make the National Television Premiere of Brothers at War at 8 PM on Memorial Day!

This ever greater exposure and viewing of the film means that the accurate portrait of our American Military Families is reaching an ever greater audience. It is my hope that audiences are as inspired by the people I got to know and those I got to know better on my journey into the lives of my two brothers. All of their experiences leave me humbled and deeply appreciative.

For those of you who do not have access to Showtime but would still like to see the film, click on the “buy the DVD link” to the right and enter “Memorial” at checkout to receive 20% off.

Have a wonderful weekend,
God Bless you all.

Jake.

I watched your movie and was touched and amazed at the reality of it all. I am grateful for people who get the truth out there are keeping us all aware of how real this really is. It was wonderful that Brothers at War aired on Memorial Day while our Commander and Chief couldn’t bring himself to go to Arlington and give a speech to honor the men and women that is fighting and dying to keep us free. Thank you for sharing the heartfelt emotions of how the war has affected you and your family. Thank your family for letting me come in to your home. I am deeply honored to be in such good company even through the TV. I am only one voice but I am very proud to be an American and I do not ever forget the price of my freedom. God Bless you and your family, thank Isaac and Joe for me.

I caught Brothers at War on Showtime. Simply one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Thank you so much for portraying our men and women without an agenda or political message. I would love to know how the brothers are doing.

    Hey Hollywood,

I express through comparisons so…..I lost interest in Avatar about a quarter of the way through…but with Brothers…I lost track of time instead.

You have a heck of a great family Jake and you’re a great storyteller. I’m a 20-yr. retired cop now Screenwriter. I have a mix of both yours and your bro’s perspective.

I’d like to work with you someday because “You get it.”

The Website above’s June issue has my story in an interview.

Congrats on Cannes, and more important to you on being an Uncle again. All the very best from the Meyer Family to Yours.–Johnny Dangerously (my old LE-nickname.)
