Jake,I just watched the movie,before anything my prayers go out to you and ur family for the loss of Thadeous,may his good memories and spirt always be with you and your family.
Its an incredible movie and so kool to be able to see what it is that they do out ther,they risk ther lives just bein ther.
We have all these movies like stop loss,jarhead..etc,but it different when its a civilians eye view the realty..
I loved it,I actually thought you would end up enlisting at some point…lol..but didn’t..:(..I like your brothely love and bond,it should always be that way..
And last but not least,I’m totally curious to know if our soldier,I didn’t get his name he ordered the troops to burn the 2 vehicles when looking for the shooter..is his career the military or is he home yet??he sound like he was from New York,..is he single??
Hey that might be for another movie in the makin…lol..

I just watched on Showtime . This was one of the best films I have ever seen in my LIFE. I am 45 years old.My grandpa was in ARMY 81st infantry WILDCATS division in the Pacific during WWII.My dad inlisted in ARMY served in korea. missed nam,My brother also inlisted in ARMY 101st airborne late 1980’s.I myself inlisted my PECKER into my girlfriend over and over to have 3 little peckerheads runing around,so I have been married 24 years.I told my wife after watching the film. that the fate of all men,women,kids killed WWII in london bombings from FUCKFACE HITLER himself. Is why me and her are here with our 3 kids and 2 grandkids at this very moment.My mom was born in london and she still remembers her very street getting hit,so my mom ,grandma, and greatgranny got there fannies to the us by ship and settled illinois.my mom and dad then met ,had me,my brother and sister,then I MET YOU, now that is fate just wanted to share that

I express through comparisons so…..I lost interest in Avatar about a quarter of the way through…but with Brothers…I lost track of time instead.

You have a heck of a great family Jake and you’re a great storyteller. I’m a 20-yr. retired cop now Screenwriter. I have a mix of both yours and your bro’s perspective.

I’d like to work with you someday because “You get it.”

I was blown away by your movie. I was medically retired from 519th MI BN, (ABN), 525 MI BDE, XVIII ABN CORPS after being blown up in the Persian Gulf. I SINCERELY BELLIEVE PART II of you movie NEEDS TO BE the other half of the story: “This is what happens when you come HOME!” You have no idea how blessed you are to have family like yours. My wife took off with my son’s baseball coach when I was in Walter Reed ICU in a body cast, wheelchair, and learning to walk again. Fractured spine, medical malpractice, and a host of collateral damage. The bumper stickers don’t come close…. “Freedom isn’t free”. The American people don’t have the stomach for the reality of the cost.
PLEASE do what no one else has done, AGAIN! ((Your movie of Brotheres at War was the first movie no one ever did, now it’s time to do it again… the rest of the story!)) THANK YOU so very much. It was close to home watching LRS guys after being the “controlling authority” that put them in harms way for so many years. I was the Collection Manager at both 82nd G2 and Corps level. I am not the only one that came home to find family gone. My “brother” hates me now. My family rejected me, and I had to learn what was important all over again. BOTH my two boys are now ACTIVE DUTY, one is at Bragg, the other Korea after three tours each. I can’t tell you how much that story needed to be told. THANK YOU!
